Semi-realism Maka Soul

I've always wanted to learn semi-/realism but I always ALWAYS get intimidated by the style

So in order to keep myself interested, who are better to use as models than Soul and Maka?

I've been working on this for days working on and off whenever I grow tired of working and staring at the same picture for hours I must say that for a first time....it didn't end up looking like complete trash Though I'm not happy with how Soul turned out

I really hated painting their lips and eyes! So hard and annoying! I had to redo them for more than 3 times! I think Soul looks so girlie with how I painted his lips and eyes
